Texas law requires a six-hour defensive driving course for ticket dismissal eligibility.

Yes. Our course meets Texas defensive driving requirements for ticket dismissal. TDLR License # CP206

No. Some violations and CDL holders may not qualify. Courts determine eligibility.

Texas generally allows ticket dismissal through defensive driving once every 12 months.

You will receive a certificate of completion after successfully finishing the course. Print and digital certificates available!

NO. You must obtain permission from a judge to take Defensive Driving for ticket dismissal. 

You do NOT need your driving record in order to take Defensive Driving.

HOWEVER, most courts do require that you bring a copy of your driving record when you go to turn in your certificate of completion for this course.

Please bring:

  • Valid driver license
  • Court paperwork or citation
  • That’s it!

If your court requires additional documents/affidavits, bring those as well.
